Art Workshop - Narrative Stories

In this 90-minute literary drawing project, participants will choose from photos provided of various Port Fairy landmarks (eg. the lighthouse) which are so familiar as to be almost a cliché. (You are welcome to bring your own as well.) Participants will take the familiar and make it unfamiliar by introducing a narrative element to a drawing. At the start of the session, Jane will refer to one of her own works (which will be on display at the Blarney Books & Art gallery) which is based around this premise of adding something unexpected to reimagine an everyday scene. The wilder the scenarios participants come up with, the better!
